Terms of Service

1. AI-Generated Content

PodAnchor uses artificial intelligence to generate audio episodes from URLs and text you provide. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. You should verify any important information independently. PodAnchor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PodAnchor ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. What PodAnchor Does

PodAnchor converts URLs, text, and topic queries into podcast-style audio episodes delivered via private RSS feeds. You can listen to your episodes in any standard podcast app. PodAnchor also offers a daily briefing feature that automatically generates audio from your configured content sources on a recurring schedule.

4. Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person or entity per account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use PodAnchor.

5. Free Trial and Subscriptions

PodAnchor offers 3 free episodes to all new accounts with no credit card required.

Paid subscription tiers:

• Curious ($9/month): Twice-weekly briefings, one private RSS feed.
• Obsessed ($19/month): Daily briefings, personalized briefings, priority processing, unlimited sources and topics.

Subscription pricing and included features may change. You will receive at least 30 days notice before any price change takes effect on your renewal.

6. Payments and Cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to the payment method on file. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content
• Resell or redistribute generated audio without authorization
• Circumvent usage limits or abuse the service

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the URLs, text, and other content you submit to PodAnchor. By submitting content, you grant PodAnchor a limited license to process that content for the purpose of generating audio episodes. Generated audio episodes are yours to use for personal or internal business purposes. Generated audio episodes are stored until you delete them or your account is closed. If your subscription is cancelled, episode audio may be deleted after 7 days. On account deletion, all episode content is removed within 30 days.

9. Intellectual Property

The PodAnchor name, logo, and service are the property of Hyzer Works LLC. You may not use PodAnchor trademarks without prior written permission. The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hyzer Works LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hyzer Works LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated content produced by the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
